Mirus was featured twice in 2008 in the professional journal Coaching at Work. The magazine launched a campaign 'Coaching the Community', which links with coaches and mentors who are spreading their wings to make a real difference in the world.

NCVO Leadership Programme Event May 2008

Five Mirus coaches presented the Mirus 'offer' to the 75 participants who attended the launch of the NCVO Leadership Programme. The event was sponsored by Barclays and held at their HQ, in Canary Wharf, London on 15th May.

NCVO Trustee Conference October 2008

Mirus coaches, Alma, Rachel and Su were present at the Mirus stand at the NCVO and On Board Trustee Conference on 6th October 2008 to promote Mirus.

ICF Conference Making a Difference October 2008

Mirus coaching played a key part in the ICF’s extremely successful 'Make a Difference Now!' event sponsored by BT. Keynote speaker Sir John Whitmore endorsed that coaching was one of the fundamental ways to help society respond to current global challenges.. The day had four breakout workstreams and Mirus were invited to lead the Local Community workstream. The other three workstreams on the day were: Global Community, Sustainability and Education.

Mirus Coaching was publicly acknowledged and thanked for the innovative way we have chosen to use our coaching skills for the greater good and effect.
